A memorial honoring Hainesport Military Veterans, Volunteer Firefighters,
Volunteer
Emergency Squad members, Hainesport Police Department
and the New Jersey State Police will be erected around the existing
flag poles at the
Municipal Building off Marne Highway.
The area surrounding the memorial stones
will be paved with bricks that are being
offered to residents for $35.00 each. Bricks will be engraved with a message that
will
be selected by the purchaser. A total of three lines can be utilized to recognize a
loved one who may
have served in the military, a volunteer with an emergency services
organization in Hainesport, the former Hainesport Police
Department or the
New Jersey State Police.
An artist rendering of the memorial will be on display at the municipal building
soon,
please take a moment to visit the building once this rendering is on display.
