A MESSAGE FROM THE
NEW JERSEY STATE
POLICE !
Be
aware of criminal activity in and around your neighborhood.
As a result of several daytime residential burglaries within our
township as well as
surrounding municipalities, homeowners are asked to report
suspicious activity.

Report any suspicious vehicles or
individuals.

Take Notice of vehicles in driveways
that do not belong to the residence
-
If possible, try to record the
license plates of suspicious vehicles.

Be aware of individuals going door
to door handing out flyers or business cards.
-
Be aware of individuals who knock on
your door and ask to speak with someone who does not live there.
-
Take notice of vehicles occupied and
parked on your street when you leave your residence.
-
Protect Your Valuables. Many criminals
enter a residence and make their way to the master bedroom
where jewelry is stored on or in a dresser.

Please lock your vehicles and do not leave
valuables and items like electronics, computers and etc. in plain view in
vehicles.

Protect Your Vehicle from
unlawful entry, LOCK ALL DOORS.

A memorial honoring Hainesport Military Veterans, Volunteer Firefighters,
Volunteer
Emergency Squad members, Hainesport Police Department
and the New Jersey State Police has been erected around the existing
flag poles at the
Municipal Building, off Marne Highway.
The area surrounding the memorial stones
has been paved with bricks that are being
offered to residents. Bricks will be engraved with a message that
will
be selected by the purchaser. A total of three lines can be utilized to recognize a
loved one who may
have served in the military, a volunteer with an emergency services
organization in Hainesport, the former Hainesport Police
Department or the
New Jersey State Police.

this tribute to all who served.

request for assistance.
