TAX SALE INFORMATION

The Tax Sale is the enforcement of collections against a property by placing a lien against the property for all outstanding municipal charges and Mount Holly sewer charges due at the end of the prior calendar year.

In order to enforce the collections, the Tax Collector must hold a Tax Sale each year.  At the Sale, a lien is sold for the amount of municipal charges and sewer charges, plus interest and costs of the Sale.  The Sale is done by public auction.
