Brush and Tree Limbs

Residents may call to schedule a pick up.  Weather permitting, all brush and tree limbs will be picked up as soon as possible.

Brush and tree limbs will not be picked up if commingled with foreign material.  The three day period may be extended during leaf collection which begins in the latter part of October.  Please see the calendar as that time approaches for leaf pick up schedule.

Recycling

Burlington County provides recycling for municipalities within the County.  The scheduled pick up for Hainesport Township is every other Tuesday.  You can call the Hotline to confirm the dates at 609-267-6889, or visit our recycling information page.

Appliance Pick Up

This service is available by calling 609-267-3042.  Please advise what is being picked up and where.  Appliance pick up is every Monday, weather permitting.  You will be asked to place the appliance on the curb line Sunday evening or early Monday morning.

Spring and Fall Clean Up

The Township offers clean up days in spring and fall.  Dumpsters will be placed at the Municipal Building, manned by Public Works employees.  Public Works will assist residents with unloading their vehicles.

An announcement will be mailed to residents and placed on the calendar prior to the scheduled clean up date.  Hazardous materials will NOT be included.

Miscellaneous Items

The Township will try to accommodate resident's requests to pick up homeowner generated materials.  However, please remember the following exceptions:  any item normally collected with regular weekly trash, contractor's debris or excess materials, paint, propane, bottles, tires, vehicles, hazardous materials, and concrete or blacktop.

Snow Removal Alert

The Township will begin plowing snow and/or salting roads when dictated by the storm.  It is important to move vehicles off of the road to allow an efficient snow removal operation.  It is also a violation of Township Ordinances to allow any vehicle to remain on a public street where private off street driveway parking is available.

Trash Pick Up

Household trash pick up is every Thursday.  Please observe the Township ordinance prohibiting placing trash at the curb before 12:00 PM the Wednesday before pick up.
